Message	If you mean the PCV system, look closely, they are plugged. I tapped new ports up on the intake cam covers which will be routed to a catch can. If you mean the EGR system, two reasons. One, recirc'ed exhaust gasses help buffer the combustion process, which helps prevent detonation.
